Iranians mourns slain protesters in Tehran
Tens of thousands heeded the call of Mir Hossein Mousavi for a sixth day in a row, wearing green the color of the opposition leader and black, the color of mourning, in memory of seven demonstrators killed this week. Signs are emerging of divisions within the Iranian elite. Several senior clerics, including Hossein Ali Montazeri have begun to voice their reservations about the official results of the presidential elections.
The reformist cleric urge restraint from government
The reformist cleric Saanei seen here in footage from 2006 has also urged restraint from government forces following violent breakups of the protests. Another has gone even further, calling for the impeachment of the interior minister.
