Iranians vote with full force in the presidential elections Iranians came out in force on Friday for what some predict could be a record turnout to choose whether to stick to incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or oust him in favour of more moderate challegner, ex-premier Mir Hossein Mousavi. Voting stations are staying open late to handle the flood of voters.
Supporters want Iran to find its place in the region Roham, Mousavi supporter, "Now that Obama is in power, with a new language, we must adapt and Iran must find its place in the region."
Ahmadinejad supporter confident of his victory Saideh, Ahmadinejad supporter, "I am sure that Ahmadinejad will win. I voted for him. He's tackled injustice and corruption and he will continue to do that in the years to come."
