North Dakota dug in for a lengthy fight against the erosion of its levees, as flood levels were forecast to remain near record highs for a week and an approaching snow storm threatened more misery for anxious residents on Monday.Chuck Cunningham, "What we're doing is that we are filling sand bags for later this week. We have a storm coming though tomorrow. We are hearing that one is going to come through on Thursday. I know its weather so you can't really pinpoint it but it's going to warm up pretty quick and we have a lot of snow still on the ground." Chris Dill, "I'm having a blast. Everybody is having a good time which is really nice. I mean, if you can't have fun sand bagging, you can't have fun! The mood is great, everybody is cheer full, and having a good time." Dennis Walaker, "We're talking about 5 inches, starting tomorrow afternoon. The snow scares us? No. Because it takes some nature also to melt it and so forth but once the river starts going down, we will continue to monitor it."
