#Videocrux - Republicans divided over Palin's presidential prospects
Republicans divided over Palin's presidential prospects Sarah Palin’s autobiography hits stores Tuesday. "Going Rogue" is the 2008 election told by the Republican vice presidential candidate, and running mate to John McCain. She may have her sights set on the White House in 2012, but is she still the darling of the Republican base?
"Going Rogue" Sarah Palin's autobiography Sarah Louise Palin (born February 11, 1964) is an American politician who served as Governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009. She was the Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States in 2008. In 2008, Republican presidential candidate John McCain chose Palin as his running mate in that year's presidential election, making her the second female candidate and the first Alaskan candidate of either major party on a national ticket, as well as the first female vice-presidential nominee of the Republican Party. Since the defeat of the McCain-Palin ticket in the 2008 election, there has been speculation that she may run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. On May 12, 2009, it was announced that Palin had signed a book deal with HarperCollins. The book's publication date was moved up to November 17, 2009, due to Palin completing the book earlier than expected. The deal included a $1.25 million retainer.

"TeamSarah" all out for women in politics
"Sarah Palin too conservative to lead" Travis, college republican, says Palin is too conservative on many key issues and as young Republican college student he does not agree with Palin's point of view.
Success of "Going Rouge" and 2012 speculation By early November 2009, Palin’s Going Rogue book was the number one seller on Amazon.com and other leading booksellers. Palin co-authored the book with Lynn Vincent, a conservative writer. Various polls have indicated rising popularity of Sarah suggesting a run for national office in 2012.
