#Videocrux - Dog takes New York art world by storm Dog takes New York art world by storm
Tillamook Cheddar is one talented canine, showing off his talents, painting up a storm in a New York studio and making a pretty penny to boot.
Dog becomes an artist
The 10 year old Jack Russell terrier scratches, bites, and licks abstract designs across her canvases. Tillie discovered this passion for art through her owner. He considers her a true artist--not just a trained dog trying to please her master.
Tillie shows qualities of a artist
Tillie tears right into the canvas. During her twenty minute performance, she falls into a frenzied trance. She protects her work like a dog guarding a bone. Hastie has wrench the painting away to make her stop. Tillie's talents have made her into a star. Hastie insists he’s made Tillie the public face of their partnership because she's really in charge of their creative direction. Many people consider Hastie as her assistant, but Hastie has to make a lot of decisions like the size of the canvas and it's color before Tillie could paint.
Tillie's paintings getting popular among fans
Ten years into her career, Tillie has created hundreds of paintings and won an enthusiastic fan base. Some of her pieces sell for more than 1000 dollars. These two Brooklyn artists have invited her to show her work in their upcoming Paris expositions. Ward Yoshimoto, an artist says “She's able to work freely which is like the ultimate as an artist I will try for this. Picasso one's said I worked my all life to draw like a child.”
