A bright yellow mobile school is trying to bring basic education to tens of thousands of Indian children living in Delhi's slums and left out of the school system.
Reaching out to the impoverished children

Indian government wants bring the children to school
Suman Munah Lal, Student, Chalta Firta School, “I have this big dream to bring pride to my family name. My dream is to study and become something. I want to stand on my own feet.”
Children seen as wage earners by parents
Roshanara, Parent, Anna Nagar slum, “The kids that still work, their parents are forced because they don’t have money. That’s why, instead of educating them, they make their kids work. They think, ‘at least our kids will bring home money, and we can run our household.”
Numerous challenges for the completion of project
The project faces monumental challenges. The bus reaches some 200 slum children in New Delhi, but there are about 45,000 more that need help. But the organizers press ahead. The job is simply too important to neglect.
